Description

The Production Operator II at Mate Precision Technologies will operate various machines and complete other tasks within the Blank department.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Will perform various operations like sandblasting, cutting, drilling, arbor presses, and pinning.
• Complete various machine maintenance.
• Inspect work using gaging and inspection devices to verify conformance to specifications.
• Meet expectations for productivity and quality and strive for continuous improvement.
• Follows guidelines established for work scheduling and understands delivery objectives.
• Participates in continuous improvement and lean activities.
• Report any machine or process problems and variances.
• Will serve as the backup for urethane, including training others in the urethane process.
• Collaborates with others, is open-minded, responsive, and supports others' efforts to succeed.
• Demonstrates integrity by being dependable, having good judgment, being honest, and taking responsibility for their actions.
• Respectful of others, encouraging others to share their ideas, actively listening to others, and having common courtesy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal is required.
• Experience working with an ERP system (such as Oracle and/or Factivity) is preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Frequent standing, reaching, and walking.
• Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and some chemicals is common.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay, Work Schedule & Benefits:

• Hourly Wage: $23.38 - $25.47/hour ($1/hour Shift Differential for 2nd Shift)
• Work Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Monday - Friday) or 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (Monday - Thursday)
