Sante is seeking a Full-Time Family Peer Recovery Specialist to join our frontline crisis intervention team in Salisbury, MD. As a Family Peer Recovery Specialist, you will play an active role in supporting clients and families by using your own individual experience to provide personalized care and guidance.

Essential Functions:

* Promote clients health, self-direction, skill development, and ensure clients goals are developed and documented

* Provide education and resources to clients and their families, including but not limited to, community resources, family peer support services, support groups and networks

* Serve as an advocate for clients and their families

* Assist in the development of crisis and other client and family-driven plans

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Certified Family Peer Recovery Specialist through the State of Maryland (CPRS or CPRS-F) OR willingness to be certified within one (1) year of employment (agency will pay)

* Personal, lived experience supporting a child or loved one in their journey to recovery and stability

* 2 years of professional experience working with children and families in a community-based program

* Must possess a valid driver's license with proof of current automobile insurance

* Must be able to work with high-risk consumers who have mental illnesses as well as developmental and physical disabilities. We expect all staff to have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service; to comply with the rules and regulations of those organizations to which we are accountable; to have high ethical and professional standards of conduct; and to have an attitude of wanting to continuously improve their own professional performance.

Salary Range: Up to $17.75-20.50 per hour
