For over 30 years, Masuda Funai has maintained a unique visiting foreign attorney program that allows a lawyer licensed to practice law in Japan (bengoshi) to intern with the firm for a specified period of time. The program is designed to be an immersive experience in the U.S. legal industry and business culture, and the bengoshi is given the opportunity to participate in cross-border transactions and to work with attorneys in various practice groups.
