- Start up, changeover, and shut down assigned machines as necessary
- Effectively and efficiently set-up labeler and identify quality issues
- Perform minor adjustments to machinery under the supervision of maintenance supervisor, production
- Complete production documentation as assigned
- Perform routine preventive maintenance of equipment including basic mechanical preventive inspections
- Conduct maintenance visual inspections and machine lubrication as required by the computer
- Complete work orders in the CMMS
- Periodically document and complete PM and operation specification checklists at the line
- Maintain relevant documentation for assigned equipment
- Perform quality checks on assigned machines
- Maintain safety, quality and production standards
- Basic mathematic skills are required
- Industrial packaging machine operating experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills including reading and understanding technical documentation
- Ability to explain and communicate issues effectively as required
- Basic understanding of wrappers, scales, baggers, labelers and printers related to set-up is preferred.
- Consistently meet line efficiencies for assigned line and schedule
- Team player driven to succeed in a flexible fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented to be able to understand and quickly correct deviations in the process according to system
- Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 48-53
- The background noise approaches 70 decibels
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. consistently throughout the day
