Mastronardi Produce-USA, Inc. is Hiring a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Near Livonia, MI

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Building revenue forecasts and budget by customer and SKU, collaboratively with Sales and Marketing.
  • Monitor performance of Revenue and provide insights to Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Responsible for supporting sales in building customer facing presentations and information.
  • Leading contract bid analysis process and reporting.
  • Assist with allocations of product during supply challenged periods.
  • Participate in weekly Supply and Demand meetings and provide analytical support.
  • Monitor pricing versus plan and provide insights into variances.
  • Participate in weekly pricing meetings and proactively work with Sales team on margin impact analysis.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of commodity markets trends and behavior.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and execution of weekly, month, quarterly and annual Executive reporting.
  • Actively contribute to Executive Presentation outlining business results and analysis.
  • Drive efficient and effective and accurate reporting supporting product delivery decision making.
  • Measure and drive improvements in Sales forecast accuracy and the Demand Planning Process.
  • Lead charge on sales inputs for the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasting process.
  • Accurate and timely completion of ad hoc requests.
  • Leverage analytical insights to develop actionable items for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics.
  • Quantifying and communicating sales cuts and lost opportunities, and its impact on demand.
  • Communicate Effectively, across, up, and down the organization.


Education/Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or analytics
  • Five years of experience in finance, sales analysis, forecasting and business planning required

  • Deep experience working with Business Intelligence tools to report financial and operational results.
  • Solutions focused with strong analytic and creative thinking skills with a relentless drive for results.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Resourcefulness, proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment with sensitivity and respect.
  • Participate in multiple projects and tasks, with constantly changing priorities and evolving issues.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues with discretion.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a variety of audiences.
  • Proactively manage conflict in sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work independently and self-starter.
  • Experience working with middle and senior level management in support of achieving their goals.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel modelling, Power Point presentations).
  • A strong desire to learn and to continuously improve.
  • A strong preference for commodity and/or category management experience.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical mind, and ability to address opportunities and create the story.
  • Willing to work with vast types of data.
  • Adaptive personality that can deal with ambiguity.
  • A strong customer service mindset, as the sales and commodity teams are the analysts’ main “customers”.
  • Experience with ERPs (preferably MS Navision), Advanced Excel and Database skills (SQL, MS Access, JET reporting or other), exposure to Business Intelligence Tools (Anaplan, Targit).

  • Typical office environment
  • Needs to go to the Kingsville, ON, office on a periodic basis; therefore, needs a valid passport.
