Job Description :

As a Commercial Flooring Installer with Masters Petersens Flooring & Design, you will be tasked with the installation of diverse flooring types in various commercial settings such as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail locations, and office spaces.

This position demands a high level of skill, efficiency, and the ability to manage projects that vary in scope and complexity.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct site preparation for the installation of LVT, LVP, carpet, sheet vinyl, and VCT, ensuring all surfaces meet company standards for quality and safety.
• Measure and cut flooring materials accurately, adhering to all architectural drawings and specifications.
• Install sheet vinyl and VCT in addition to LVT, LVP, and carpet with attention to detail and adherence to set timelines.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for cutting, fitting, and laying flooring.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members to ensure deadlines are met and installations are completed to the highest standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during on-site work.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial flooring installation, with extensive knowledge in LVT, LVP, carpet, sheet vinyl, and VCT.
• Expertise in handling large-scale commercial projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in flooring installation or a related field is preferred.
