Mastermind Behavior is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Montclair, NJ

Mastermind Behavior is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team. As a leading provider of behavioral therapy services for children, we aim to help individuals reach their fullest potential and create meaningful change in their lives. Our approach is rooted in the belief that every child is unique and deserving of the opportunity to progress and succeed.

As a Behavioral Technician at Mastermind Behavior, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention programs designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You will work one-on-one with children, providing them with the support and guidance they need to develop new skills and achieve their goals. This rewarding position allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families, while also gaining valuable experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention programs under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect data on client progress and behavior using established methods
  • Maintain accurate and organized records relating to clients' programs and sessions
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavior support plans
  • Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to clients during therapy sessions
  • Follow Mastermind Behavior's policies and procedures to ensure effective and ethical service delivery

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
