The right candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and is a self-motivated individual who can actively engage. Lead the procurement process by carefully choosing suppliers and optimizing stock levels, while also offering expertise on sourcing and procurement procedures. As a manufacturing supply chain specialist, your focus will be on cost-effective purchasing of goods and services for Master's Transportation. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining quality control and following the company's policies and procedures for supply chain management.

Job Title: Procurement Manager with Continuous Opportunities for Growth!
A Day in the Life as a Procurement Manager: Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the upfit facility. Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money. Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and preparation of contracts. Work alongside of production to keep supply timing in line with production schedule. Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business. Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business. Implement change and develop new processes to better procure goods and services. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service. Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals. Analyze market and delivery trends to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends. Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results. Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities. Review current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate. Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls, and processes. Manage associates to company procurement process requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing supply chain operations preferably manufacturing supply chain. 
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or business administration or 5 years’ experience in like position
