Job Description: We are searching for a Director of Information Technology you will be responsible for shaping and managing the technology landscape of our specialty vehicle business. This hands-on leadership position requires a dynamic individual capable of overseeing the full spectrum of IT operations. This is not a maintenance role. Job Title: Director of Information Technology with Continuous Opportunities for Growth!
A Day in the Life as a Director of Information Technology: As a Director of Information Technology you'll be responsible for developing and executing IT strategies. Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals. Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software. Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency. Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management. Manage vendor relationships and contracts to support project goals. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Azure: 
    • More than 50% Console.
    • Heavy use in these Modules: Security and Identity Mgmt. (AD, Defender, Sentinel, etc.).
    • How it operates at 10,000ft and ground level, too.
  • Proven experience in an IT leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing or transportation industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software systems.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to drive IT initiatives.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree.
