Master's Landscape Design is Hiring a Project Manager (Landscaping & Hardscaping) Near Mount Juliet, TN

Landscaping and hardscaping project managers are responsible for organizing all aspects of landscape projects, surveying them until completion. They oversee all crew leaders and other professionals working on each project. They must efficiently guide and ensure said projects stay on time and budget. Project managers must have a keen understanding and experience with how landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, and lighting is to be properly installed. Examples of our projects can include landscape design/planting, outdoor living spaces, outdoor kitchens, custom patios, walkways, fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, paver driveways, pools, and more. Our projects commonly involve work with heavy machinery, pavers, natural stone (flagstone, limestone, slate, etc), brick, masonry, and more.

Key jobs: ~includes, but not limited to~

  • Coordinate crew leaders
  • Oversee contracted professionals
  • Communicate with design coordinator & be sure correct materials are procured
  • Maintain records to ensure flow and budget of project sites

Morning Activities

  • Meet with crew leaders
    • Assign projects
    • Address problems/ issues
  • Meet with design coordinator
    • Address problems/ issues
    • Go over tasks
  • Morning correspondence

Afternoon Activities

  • Touch base with:
    • Crew leaders
    • Design coordinator

  • Peruse next day’s tasks

    • Make calls
    • Send emails

  • MUST HAVE 5 years experience as a foreman and/or construction project manager specifically focused in all aspects of hardscaping construction.
  • Ability to read and scale blueprints.
  • The ability to successfully manage and lead multiple crews of 3-5 team members as well as subs.
  • Experience installing pavers and retaining walls correctly and willingness to teach others.
  • Knowledge of how to install low voltage lighting.
  • Manage timelines and budgets
  • Manage customer expectations at all times.
  • Experience with masonry and natural stone.
