About us:

Master Roberts World Class Taekwondo teaches the most popular martial art, Taekwondo to kids, teens and adults. Our World Class program equips students with confident self defense and martial arts techniques while instilling valuable skills for life! We are the newest of three dozen successful affiliates across the United States teaching World Class Taekwondo. Our current team consists of three Full-time members including the owners as well as part-time and volunteer staff. The owners are involved in the day to day activities and the teaching team contains decades of Taekwondo training and Professional teaching each. We are a dedicated team that thrives on serving our students with a World Class Experience, that allows them to reach their highest potential. Our school is a true Home of Leaders and we are excited to open our doors to another shining star to help us on our mission.

Job Description:

Our ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. This position is largely focused on recruitment as well as retention. You will need to creatively introduce our World Class Taekwondo School to new recruitment opportunities in our local community (Schools, Daycares, Government agencies and Local business owners) while being on the forefront of strong retention of our current students. This individual must uphold a friendly and positive attitude during all interactions to enhance our current student experience and grow a family like feel, business culture. This individual must maintain a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

The ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously both effectively and efficiently. The candidate must contain an eagerness to learn and grow on new tasks in a supportive environment.

With the right candidate, we feel this person could become an essential part of the Master Roberts Team and could have the potential to be transformed into a Full-Time position.

Schedule:

2-3 hours/day 5 days a week, M-F. Hours ideally 3:30-6:30pm with flexibility to adjust days and times upon request. Competitive wage to be discussed.

Requirements:

The candidate must:

-Work well with others.

-Enhance the student experience.

-Contain a general knowledge or eagerness to learn: Canva, Trello, Slack, Excel, all social media platforms, as well as other software programs in the school.

Responsibilities:

- First point of contact to greet and assist current training students and their families.

- Correspondence with current and prospective training students via email and text/call.

- Administrative tasks involving software system.

- Answering the phone, handling inquiries both in person and electronically.

- Find and research innovative opportunities to grow our Taekwondo School.

- Think of new ideas to creatively reach more prospects and implement those new ideas.
