We are a Women Owned Business that services the manufacturing industry throughout Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina with offices and metrology centers located in Danville, Virginia and Greenville, South Carolina.
In addition to providing distribution services, Master Gage & Tool Co. offers complete mechanical calibration and inspection services. Our metrology services group is accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC17025 with a very extensive scope of accreditation which includes all mechanical and dimensional calibration and inspection services and customer site calibration services of optical comparators, hardness testers, surface plates, vision measurement systems, coordinate measuring systems and hand measuring tools. We are seeking a Inside Sales Support person for new product sales in Danville, VA sales office
Must be a US citizen.
Responsibilities of Inside Sales Support :
- Answer incoming calls to the Danville Office
- Will work in team environment that centers on excellent customer service
- Become proficient in P21 to prepare quotes/orders and find necessary information to answer order /customer specific questions
- Learn to source vendors for appropriate gaging needs to meet customer applications
- Communicate with vendors to follow up on orders and check delivery
- Support inside sales team member in managing work flow
- Manage work load through email, telephone and voicemail
- Build strong relationship with outside sales person and customers in designated territory.
- Prioritize work load
- Desire and aptitude for following best practices of office procedures
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment, while maintaining accuracy in data entry
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to accurately manage and communicate detailed information/gage data /pricing and accurate quote to customers through operating systems
- Aptitude for computers
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word software
- Works well in a team
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Associates Degree or relevant experience required.
- Previous leadership experience
- Knowledge of customer service techniques.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Aptitude for learning new software
