(Project Manager, Health & Wellness Program Team)

(Full-Time – Boston, Springfield, NYC)

The Opportunity

As an experienced Project Manager within the MassMutual’s Health & Wellness team you will have responsibility for planning and execution of a broad set of workstreams in support of this strategic program designed to help policyowners live longer, healthier lives.

The Team

As part of a newly formed program and growing team within Enterprise Technology & Experience (ETX), you will be expected to collaborate effectively across a range of internal and external stakeholder groups and multi-disciplinary teams to help drive the program toward.

The Impact

The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager that can excel in managing cross-functional relationships, be a strong collaborator and excellent communicator. You will need to be flexible, agile, and responsive to lead fast-paced critical initiatives. In this role:

  • You will be responsible for executing the strategy by taking the MassMutual Health & Wellness program from foundational learning pilots to the full program rollout
  • You will get into the details of every workstream you run, and understand the business issues and opportunities to provide hands-on support to bring the program to success
  • You will manage a large backlog of work to support the initial program launch and beyond, driving prioritized, clear value add needs to the business analyst
  • You will influence priority program decisions and collaborate with business, technology, and operational leaders to enable teams to deliver results
  • You will maintain project dashboards, progress reporting, presentations and collaborate with various leaders and teams to deliver results
  • You will be able to quickly understand a range of program elements with varying complexity that require cross-functional team alignment with internal and external stakeholders
  • You will leverage strong verbal and written communication skills to provide status and manage expectations
  • You will have experience managing projects and programs across functional teams, building sustainable processes, and generating alignment
  • You have demonstrated experience managing digital product/project initiatives from start to finish with a focus on delivering against key business metrics

The Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in project management
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Masters degree preferred
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in wellness, healthcare, human longevity program/project management preferred.
