Summary:

• Responsible for developing, implementing and supervising specific exercise prescriptions for individuals with different fitness levels, medical concerns, and/or different age populations.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs a therapeutic massage in a professional manner.*
• Sets up the massage room to perform the various massages scheduled for the day.*
• Changes linens after each massage.*
• Creates and/or completes Soap Charts, sign-in sheets and any other paperwork.*
• Makes necessary copies and files accordingly.*
• Dresses professionally.*
• Submits supply orders to Wellness Services Supervisor.*
• Orients new clients to massage process and their surroundings and completes Health Intake Form.*
• Performs opening and closing procedures in the massage room.*
• Keeps license and liability insurance current.*
• Helps members with the payment process. *
• Recognizes customer’s needs and refers to a specialist for further treatment.*
• Performs other related duties as assigned.*

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and some prior experience helpful

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Hold and maintain State License in Massage Therapy
