Massage Envy is Hiring a Remote Senior Manager Social Media Strategy & Public Relations

Overview

Social Media Strategy & Public Relations is responsible for creating social media content, managing social media accounts, developing campaign assets, and online reputation management for Massage Envy’s social media presence as well as public relation projects and project management. You have a passion for social media and an appetite for staying on top of the latest trends, platforms, and information, along with the ability to create compelling content and the ability to translate analytics into best-in-class social media strategies and executions. You will develop and execute content strategies for branded social media channels, as well as execute point-in-time social and PR campaigns and projects and has a strong background in reporting.

Essential Functions

  • Manage, develop, and distribute day-to-day editorial content on social media platforms to include Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter for both paid and organic channels.
  • Generate, collect, and analyze metrics to identify trends and themes, optimize program strategy and content, and prepare social media reports monthly.
  • Work with CRM team and affinity data partners to continuously improve effectiveness of paid social targeting/segmentation.
  • Develop social media campaigns that drive revenue, analyze ROI, and optimize accordingly.
  • Leverage trending platforms and creative formats to keep the brand relevant online and drive more conversions.
  • Manage relationship with agency partners; hold agencies accountable for working together and delivering key analytics, developing sound, strategic plans that optimize performance and keep the brand agile.

  • Manage social listening with external partner agencies and ensure internal alignment.
  • Develop omnichannel campaigns based on customer segmentation and work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on messaging and frequency.
  • Understand and create POVs around emerging platforms and technologies.
  • Build influencer marketing program to amplify brand messages online, promote the benefits of membership, and continue to build creditability in the skin care space.
  • Work with PR agency partners and Sr. VP of Marketing to build outreach programs and capture positive public sentiment.
  • Act as a liaison between PR agency partners and internal parties on significant matters involving communication strategy.
  • Work with Sr. VP of Marketing to build social strategy for executive team members.
  • Lead social media team/direct reports as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, E-Business or related field
  • 5 years of experience in online (digital) marketing with focus on social media; some knowledge of public relations a plus
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest, Social Studio, social media analytics software, social promotions tool, monitoring tools and more
  • A proactive team player with a love of problem-solving, ability to work in grey area, and the confidence to take the lead and guide projects, as necessary
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate analytics behind ideas
  • Attention to detail, providing flawless content
  • Ability to flex your right and left brains – a creative writer who can also manage monthly social reports and plan paid content strategies
  • Prefers a fast-paced work environment and can pivot quickly – must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a dynamic setting
  • Experience working with designers and giving clear visual direction
  • Experience working in a franchise or a multi-unit environment is preferred
  • Able to travel up to 10%
