Massachusetts Eye Associates is Hiring an Ophthalmic Assistant Near Chelmsford, MA

Busy ophthalmology practice is seeking staff to join our established, but every-growing practice. As part of our ophthalmic clinical staff, you will learn some basic scribe/assistant skills as well as how to perform in-office diagnostic testing, to start. This would evolve into becoming a certified ophthalmic assistant. As part of our team, the following skills and traits will be required:

  • Be able to work as part of a team in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Show kindness and respect towards patients, doctors, managers, and coworkers
  • Flexibility to change tasks or assignments as needed
  • Organized
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office is a plus
  • Experience with OCT's, Optos and visual fields is beneficial
  • Prior experience working with EHR programs
  • must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time
