Description

Student Intern project in hair cell regeneration

Student will work with research fellows on hair cell regeneration and will perform/learn molecular biology techniques (including PCR, gel electrophoresis, cell and tissue culture, protein purification, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, sequencing, CRISPR-Cas9 and animal handling (husbandry, injections, dissections, hearing tests, surgeries)
Opportunity to conduct independent research (based on experience)
Must be able to work independently, well-organized

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled at a college and/or university to received internship credit.
Prior experience in an office and/or research/laboratory setting preferred.
