Job Description:
The Lab serves as the digital hub of the MassArt Campus, providing resources such as three Apple computer classrooms, several large-format inkjet printers (ranging from 17 to 60 inches), color and B&W laser printer/copiers, cutting stations, and an array of plants. It is accessible to daytime, graduate, and continuing education students, as well as staff and faculty.
Lab Monitors play a crucial role in maintaining a productive environment for artists and designers. They assist students with basic computer and software issues, ensure the proper functioning of equipment (printers, copiers, etc.), and tend to the plants.
Additionally, they support staff by performing general lab maintenance, including recycling, cleaning computer monitors, inventorying supplies, applying vinyl prints throughout the campus, designing flyers, and other administrative tasks as needed.
