We are actively seeking self-motivated production employees to join our Particle Board team. Our unique schedule provides work-life balance with built-in premium pay. Particle Board manufacturing involves drying wood, mixing it with resin, and curing it according to product recipes. Boards are cut, sanded, and routed to meet our customers’ specifications for use inside residential and commercial doors. As a Machine Operator, you will independently work on a cross-functional team to setup machines, monitor machine operation, conduct quality control checks, and handle raw material. What You'll Do:
- Work safely and adhere to safety standards, PPE requirements, and LOTO procedures.
- Setup and operate manufacturing equipment per the work instructions.
- Conduct quality checks and accurately maintain records while paying close attention to details.
- Scan the correct barcodes to maintain production downtime board accuracy.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance, such as changing saw blades, and complete daily autonomous maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
- Follow schedule to assure customer commitments are met on time.
- Consistent schedule with set days and hours and no swing shifts
- Night Shift Hours: 6PM to 6AM
- Long weekend every other weekend: 2-2-3 rotation
- Week 1 Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2 Workdays: Wednesday and Thursday Only
- Only work half of the year

- Premium pay is built into the standard schedule:
- Starting rate is $21.64 per hour plus $2.00 per hour night shift differential.
- 20 hours of built-in 1.5X premium pay per paycheck.
- Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5X hourly rate.
- Monthly performance-based bonus potential: $150
