Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food service management and team leadership. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and driving overall business success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the establishment, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Manage and train staff members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals and increase profitability
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute marketing initiatives
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities
- Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee satisfaction
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Aloha POS system or similar restaurant management software
- Proven experience in hotel or restaurant management, with a focus on food service operations
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in cooking techniques and menu planning
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
