Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a paralegal or similar to assist the Public Records Request (PRR) unit with the Bureau of HealthCare Safety and Quality.

. ·Paralegal certification a plus, but not required.

General Duties and Responsibilities -The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, resourceful, work well under pressure, have good judgment , and be able to effectively multitask

• Provides day-to-day coordination and support for all phases of the public records request response process, including the collection, processing, review, and production of documents.
• Drafts and reviews correspondence and other documentation as necessary.
• Provides support to the PRR Liaisons with document management, responding to document requests, and managing production calendars.
• Uses and maintains document databases, including electronic document databases.
• Interfaces with attorneys and agency staff.

****THIS WILL BE A HYBRID POSITION. ONCE TRAINED,CANDIDATE MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK REMOTELY 3 DAYS PER WEEK AND IN THE OFFICE TWO DAYS PER WEEK***

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $25.24 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
