Lewes, Delaware

The Stroke Coordinator provides oversight and coordination of all elements of the Stroke Program, in collaboration with the leadership and Medical Director. Responsibilities include the planning, organizing, and evaluation of patient care within the program as well as compliance with regulatory bodies and national guidelines for stroke management.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate range: $37.50 to $61.88 Per Hour
$2,500 sign on bonus

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) - Required or in pursuit of Master’s degree Preferred

Delaware RN license

- Minimum 2 years clinical experience required. Clinical expertise caring for stroke patient populations - Required

- Must document a minimum of 8 hours of Stroke specific education, and an additional 8 hours of other cardiovascular related within 90 days and annually - Required

- NIHSS certification - Required

BLS (AHA)

- CPR and ACLS - Required

- Familiarity with (GWTG) Get With The Guidelines - Stroke American Heart Association - Preferred
