Licensed Therapist/LicensedMental Health Professional
We are seeking a LicensedTherapist/Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team in Tampa, FL. TheLicensed Therapist will provide therapeutic services to youth as assessed bythe treatment team. Developsyouth needs assessment and Psychosocial History to formulate treatment plan.Prioritize treatment plan to focus on youthmental health and substance abuse issues, ensuring monthly updates reflectingprogress.Complete documentation relatedto individual, group and family sessions that are provided to the youth, aswell as, monthly progress updates related to mental health services.
Compensation:
•$55K- $60K
Requirements:
•Must possess a master’s degree in counseling,social work, psychology, or related human services field and a valid Floridalicensure (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT) preferably with at least 1 year of post-licensureexperience providing direct therapy to youth.
•Must be 21 years of ageor older.
•Must possess a valid FloridaDriver’s License
Expectations:
·Underthe supervision of the licensed clinical supervisor, conducts needs assessmentsand psychosocial to document history and identify preliminary issues fortreatment focus by interviewing the resident and their family members one onone and transcribing relevant information
·Participatesin the development and implementation of treatment plans under the supervisionof the licensed clinical supervisor
·Underthe supervision of licensed clinical supervisor, provides group and familyprocess oriented therapies using various professional treatment modalities
·Developsand assists in individualized discharge planning for the residents by utilizingtreatment team and written chart information to determine residents’ aftercareneeds
·Attendsregular treatment team meetings to provide therapists perspective to total casemanagement of the resident by reading and discussing written progress notesfrom charts and communicating any state or local agency legal requirement forcase management with the interdisciplinary team. Monitors overall course oftreatment services
·Conductseducational and other didactic groups for resident and family members
·Makeshandwritten entries to resident charges describing therapy performed, progressin discharge planning process, and/or other interventions
·Reportsincidents of suspected abuse using prescribed forms and protocols from therelevant community/state agency
·Providesindividual therapy as specified on the youth’s individual treatment plan
·MaintainsLicensure per state applicable laws
·ConductsSubstance Intervention and Education groups
