Purpose: We are looking for punctual candidates with good time management skills and record of safe driving, for the position of Driver for the Clients we serve. Drivers are responsible for delivering Clients to their appointments in a timely manner, and ensuring that vehicles are always ready for use, among other duties.

Shift: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm

Responsibilities: 

• Providing transportation to medical appointments, and errands, for clients.
• Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
• Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
• Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
• Interacting with clients in professional conduct.
• Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
• Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
• Reporting need for vehicle repairs as necessary.
• Updating monthly mileage records.
• Providing safety and supervision for adults with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Texas driver's license or the ability to obtain before the first day of employment
• 1-year driving experience.
• Knowledge of the Austin area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal communication.
• Proficiency using GPS devices.
• Clean criminal history
• Clean driving record
