Maryland Wellness, LLC is Hiring a Behavioral Healthcare Recruiter Near Baltimore, MD

Maryland Wellness is actively seeking an organized and outgoing Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team! This role is responsible for creating and implementing an ongoing strategy to attract top talent. The individual selected for this position will also work closely with management to determine and fulfill staffing needs, while simultaneously promoting a positive experience for candidates throughout the entire applicant process.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full life cycle of recruitment process by sourcing and screening applicants, assisting in hiring processes, coordinating onboarding and orientation, and providing training and guidance for staff retention. Prior experience and comfort with navigating student job fairs, community hiring events, and utilizing social media to increase recruitment efforts is strongly desired.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads and/or collaborates with HR team on recruiting efforts by creating job descriptions to assess candidates' fit for open positions.
  • Monitors job postings and communication with candidates on a variety of job boards, social media sites, and relevant websites.
  • Sources candidates through resume searchers, attendance at career fairs, and networking events.
  • Responds in a timely manner to job inquiries, referrals, and related recruiting items.
  • Reviews applications, conducts phone screens, and coordinates virtual and/or in person interviews.
  • Assists in the hiring and onboarding processes by creating offers, negotiating contracts, conducting reference checks, and collecting documentation through our HRIS.
  • Directs new hire orientation to ensure proper training for individualized roles and general compliance with government and accreditation requirements.
  • Oversees the process of follow-ups and/or check-ins, coaching, and ongoing training for new hires throughout their probationary period.
  • Understands and advises on market rates, competitive packages, and general trends in the labor market that affect recruiting.
  • Advocates for new and established employees across a variety of HR-related concerns.

Required Education, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of recruitment or sales experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of social media management strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in mental health and/or addictions or related fields preferred.
  • Knowledge of various HRIS, ATS, or similar recruitment platforms strongly preferred.
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to strategically, logically, and realistically analyze, evaluate and develop solutions the agency’s business needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with individuals of all ages, ethnicity, education, and work experience.
  • Understands and maintains confidentiality and all regulations regarding HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
  • Understands Labor Laws and employment equity regulations.
  • Exhibits professionalism and a friendly demeanor, and is a positive representative of the company over the phone and in person
  • Comfort with computers and technology.
  • Reliable, ethical, and honest work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
