Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc. currently has an opening available for a Full-Time or Part-Time Community Technician at our Avery House program for Women and Children located in Rockville, MD.

Community Technicians work closely with and under the direction of the Clinical Director and Program Manager.
Community Technician responsibilities include:

• Assist therapy staff in treatment of clients
• Supervising clients and enforcing boundaries and house rules
• Leading psycho educational groups for the clients
• Performing security rounds and room checks
• Performing breathalyzer tests and collecting specimens for drug screens
• Supervising medication self-administration
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Must be able to work independently.

Minimum Requirements:
-High School diploma/equivalent
-1 year of experience in residential treatment

Bonus:

-Have a valid driver’s license
