Maryland Integrative Counseling Associates (MICA) is seeking a fully licensed (LCPC, LCSW-C, Psychologist) therapist to join our team of experienced clinicians.
This position is as a 1099 Contractor. Therefore you have the freedom, flexibility, and independence to self-determine your caseload, hours, location (teletherapy or in-office), and therapeutic style/approach - all while receiving a higher hourly rate than salaried positions can offer. Work as much or as little as you want.
If you are looking to make the career jump to private practice, or learn cutting edge techniques like EMDR or Neurofeedback, our group is the perfect spot. It takes a long time to be a fully licensed therapist in Maryland. Therefore, we consider you the expert and offer you the independence to practice your way. And, you can still receive as much administrative and clinical support as you want, without the unnecessary tasks or oversight at other practices. Requirements:
Must be fully licensed in Maryland. (LCPC, LCSW-C, PhD or PsyD)
A minimum of 2 years of unsupervised psychotherapy experience.
Knowledgeable or interested in EMDR or Neurofeedback a plus.
Specializing in children or adolescents a plus.
Insurance credentialing with CareFirst or Cigna/Evernorth a plus.
