Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional eye care services and contribute to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Educate patients on proper eye care techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
- State licensure to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of ocular health, vision disorders, and corrective measures
- Experience in conducting pediatric and senior eye exams
- Proficiency in medical coding and electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment
- Ability to perform basic optometric procedures such as measuring visual acuity, assessing vital signs, etc.
- Sales skills to recommend appropriate eyewear or vision aids

Pay: $145,639.00 - $154,262.00 per year
