Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service is seeking an Environmental Systems Assistant Regional Supervisor (ESARS) who will be in responsible charge of the daily operations, monitoring and maintenance of water, wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment systems in the Western Region of Maryland. The four (CSUS) courses must be approved by the Chief of Operations. If all or additional courses are needed to meet this requirement, MES will allow 18 months for the employee to complete the required courses. 2. The “Manage for Success” or equivalent CSUS management course that is approved by the MES Training Office must also be completed for this position. Two years as an Environmental Systems Supervisor with the Maryland Environmental Service, OR seven years of progressively responsible experience as an operator of water, wastewater or industrial wastewater treatment systems, including at least two years supervising or directing plant personnel.
