Outpatient Counselor (LSW, LPC) Job Description

Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. Our location in Marysville, Ohio is looking for an Outpatient Counselor with a valid State of Ohio LSW or LPC licensure. The Outpatient Counselor will be responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for youth, adults and families who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment in the outpatient setting. 

Outpatient Counselor (LSW, LPC) Requirements

  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of master’s degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field with one (1) year counseling experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human service or behavioral healthcare field with two (2) years' experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment required
  • Valid State of Ohio LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW licensure with two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health, adolescent treatment, or equivalent required
