Under the direction of the Clinical manager and/or Director of Outpatient Services, the Counselor will be responsible for substance use counseling, case management, and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryahven's Adult Outpatient Program for treatment. The Counselor will provide individual and group counseling services on an as needed basis. Complete assessments, urinalysis screenings, and documentation in a timely manner while making referrals for asses needs and appropriate level of care as needed. The Counselor will work with other clinicians and medical staff on the team to address client needs and promote treatment goals. 

Counselor Requirements

• Associate Arts or Bachelor's degree in human service or behavioral science with two (2) years of experience in the field of chemical dependency or mental health treatment required
• LCDC III, LPC, LSW, LISW, or comparable license or certification with two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the files of chemical dependency or mental health treatment or equivalent required
• Workweek: contingent, as needed
