Position Summary:
The YES (Youth Engagement Services) Clinician works collaboratively with schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to engage pediatric patients and their families in behavioral health interventions and programs that support optimal health and wellbeing for patients. The YES Clinician conducts comprehensive assessments, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools, to assist in creating behavioral health care plans that target treatment for the developmental, psychological and social problems that disrupt optimal health and wellbeing in childhood. The YES Clinician works with patients and families to create treatment plans that address mental health concerns, trauma, environmental and caregiver safety, child abuse and neglect, grief and loss, behavior management and parenting skills. In addition to providing assessment, triage, navigation and brief behavioral health intervention to pediatric patients and their families, the YES Clinician assists families in connecting with services and providers in the community that address social determinants of health. Th YES Clinician partners with physicians, schools, law enforcement, Childrens Administration, community mental health providers and other service providers in the community to ensure well-coordinated care across the health care continuum.
Minimum Requirements:
One year behavioral health experience required
Health industry knowledge preferred
One year Case management experience required
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW), Masters Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Masters Degree in Psychology or Counseling
Licensed in the State of Washington as Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) OR LMHC OR must obtain licensure within three years of hire
Compensation Range:
M20 - Min: $33.81-Max: $48.65
