Marvin & Betty Danto Health Care Center is Hiring a Transportation driver Near West Bloomfield, MI
Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Driver to use the facility van to transport patients and residents to appointments.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
Transport residents to appointments.
Stay with residents at appointments.
Make and modify appointments as needed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle.
Fuel van as needed.
Monitor vehicle for maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma of General Education Degree (GED)
- 5 years’ experience as a licensed driver
- Minimum 25 years of age
- Ability to lift and guide wheelchair passengers onto the wheelchair lift and properly secure them.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and a physical lifting of 50 lbs.
