Job Overview:
The Partner - Head of Construction Estimating will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction estimating and job costing. This role requires an expert in the field who understands client and subcontractor pricing, ensuring accurate and competitive bids. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our company's financial success and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the estimating division, developing and implementing effective estimating strategies.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required resources.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review and analyze subcontractor bids to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
• Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and best practices in construction estimating.
• Train and mentor junior estimators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in construction estimating and job costing, with a proven track record of success.
• In-depth knowledge of client pricing and subcontractor pricing.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
