What You Can Expect

As a Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer you will contribute by developing the next generation automotive ethernet products
Responsible for the integration of external, internal IP, PHY SerDes integration and design, pad ring layout, power grid analysis and integration of digital RTL core and memory for high speed ethernet PHYs and Switch chips.
Work with Architects and Verification Engineers to integrate high performance external and internal IP.
Provide area/power optimization and design trade-offs
Support chip bring-up and validation teams
Support test coverage and HTOL board procedures
Silicon Validation of EC table with adequate margin.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience OR

Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.

Solid understanding of analog and digital design fundamentals
Full Knowledge of analog design, modeling, simulation, verification, and layout
Knowledge in micro-architecture design, RTL coding, and functional verification
Good understanding of synchronous/asynchronous design and timing requirements
Ability to analyze power/area trade-offs
Proficient using SPICE/Verilog/System Verilog
Modeling skills: Spice, VerilogA, Behavioral
Good understanding of design for high speed SerDes, regulators, power detection, comparators, PHYs, translators, and I/O circuits.

Desired

Skills in ESD protection, power analysis, packaging, pad ring and layout of chip
CMOS process modeling, device physics, layout, physical design, and process layers understanding
Understanding of MIPI protocol and PHYs
Knowledge of Cadence design tools and physical design verification tools
Experience in Perl/Python/Tcl

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

129,600 - 191,810, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
