What You Can Expect

Build databases to facilitate robust analyses. Use the knowledge of methods such as Statistical Forecasting, Cloud Service Analysis, Turnover Analysis to design data warehousing and data processing solutions to be built on ODI using PL/SQL and SQL. Produce new and creative analytic solutions using machine learning & AI by modeling data from different sources and help achieve business targets. Work with business and product teams to understand key analytics for Item Demand, Finance, and SCM use cases. Integral team member of our Analytics team responsible for design and development of Big data solutions. Work with team lead and members to solve business team's analytics problems and document results and methodologies. Extract required data from internal systems and monitor key trends in relevant metrics. Find patterns and insights in unstructured data, especially text data, including but not restricted to Sentiment Analysis, similarity in texts etc. Partner with internal product & IT team to understand business process and features and help the team architect. Apply appropriate business process methodologies (e.g.: agile, waterfall) and best practices (e.g.: mid-development user reviews, embedded QA procedures, unit testing) to ensure successful and timely completion. Wage $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year. Telecommuting is permitted.

What We're Looking For

Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Operations Research, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Must have the following skills set (evidence by full-time work experience or completed graduate coursework) involved in:

1. Back-end database management technologies (Oracle, Snowflake).
2. ETL interfacing (Python, Oracle Data Integrator).
3. Cloud Computing Technologies (AWS EMR, EC2, Sagemaker, Transcribe.
4. Front-end user reporting (Tableau, Matplotlib, OBIEE).
5. Machine Learning Algorithms (Logistic Regression, SVM, Decision Tree).
6. Natural Language Processing (Sentiment Analysis, Text Classification).
7. Forecasting Algorithms (ARIMA, SARIMAX, Holt-Winters).
8. Business Process Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
