MARTINS FAMOUS PASTRY SHOPPE is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator II Near Corporate HQ, PA

Summary: Work within the marketing team to plan, initiate, and implement ongoing activities to support organizational marketing and sales initiatives including communications, social media, and marketing to create and enhance sales. Assist in the design and preparation of company materials and content to be presented in visual communications media such as marketing, internet websites, packaging and company branding.Plan, prepare and manage social media. As a person of integrity and respect, the Marketing Coordinator II will treat people with respect, keep commitments, inspire the trust of others and work with integrity to ethically uphold organizational and Marketing values.The Marketing Coordinator II will be a proactive thinker in continuing to embrace the mindset of thorough planning and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.

  • Create marketing and organizational communications across all mediums; maintain contact lists; create and schedule communications such as newsletters and blogs according to marketing plan objectives.
  • Maintain archives for industry updates, company mentions, and competitive data as necessary.
  • Coordinate marketing campaign components; plan, execute, and monitor social media, email marketing, social/digital advertising, and other tactics as needed.
  • Collect, maintain and review statistical information that measures the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
  • Content creation and management:create engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including website, blog posts, social medial and promotional materials.
  • Initiate and manage social media content calendar; coordinate with marketing team members to develop content and create calendar.Monitor of social media platforms as necessary.
  • Participate in events such as trade shows, festivals, marketing releases, launch events and press meetings.
  • Research marketing trends, product information, industry trends and competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintain research databases.
  • Assist in the collection of information that will identify return on investment of marketing activity by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing campaign and company initiatives through development of materials, content development, communication execution and support with ad campaigns.
  •  Act as liaison with other departments to maintain brand standards and promote marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of marketing promotional strategies and marketing plan.
  • Assist department personnel with meeting preparation and event preparation and management; maintain databases and shared files; prepare reports.
  • Assist in the support of marketing initiatives; prepare graphic and visual materials for marketing materials and content, displays, social media, website or any visuals or content needed to support the business goals of the company.
  • Work with Creative Arts Project Manager as necessary to maintain company images, packaging, branding or any visual art.

Education and/ or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college in Marketing or related field.
  • 5 or more years’ experience in marketing/graphics design field.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to applycommon sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

·Knowledge of and experience working with personal computer hardware, printers, peripherals, and telecommunications equipment.

  • Graphic design programs.
  • Cameras, video cameras, printers, and telecommunications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Proficient in web design and graphic design programs including Adobe Suite
