Martin's Peterbilt is Hiring a Diesel Technician Near Lexington, KY

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic maintenance and servicing of heavy duty trucks.
  • Assist other technicians as needed.
  • Deal with customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Maintain good customer relations and performance standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain and clean and safe work environment and shop area.
  • A desire to learn from this position in order to advance in the company.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and CDL preferred.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift tools, machinery parts, and other objects weighing between 60-80 pounds each
  • Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stopping and reaching
  • Standing for extended period of time
  • Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust and dirt

Basic tools for services will be provided to the qualifying tech if they are needed. Current tech students and recent tech school grads preferred for this position.
