Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is Hiring a Registered Nurse Critical Care ICU Near Los Angeles, CA

Full Time and Part-Time Nights

Critical Care RNs at MLKCH are a key partner in our medical Intensive Care Unit, working collaboratively with our doctors in a true team environment. You’ll work in our state-of-the-art ICU to provide compassionate quality care that improves community health and helps to save lives.

Highlights:

  • Full Time Nights/ positions available (12) hrs.
  • Night differential $7.00
  • 24 hour intensivist support

Education:

  • Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing preferred
  • Associates in nursing required

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum one-year ICU experience required
  • Current California Nursing license
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing preferred

Special Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association
  • Current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Blue Card within 90 Days of hire or requirement notification
  • Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
  • Electronic Medical Record experience preferred

Pay: $46.45 - $74.62 per hour
