Summer Literacy Teacher
Position Summary : Summer Literacy Teacher needed for Dr. Martin Luther King Center's Reading Reaps Rewards Summer Camp.
The Summer Literacy Teacher will report to The Director of Education. The goal of this position is to implement the summer literacy initiative Reading Reaps Rewards to the Rising first thru fifth graders enrolled in the MLK's summer camp;
to maintain or increase their literacy skills. This is a part-time seasonal position.
Qualifications :
Work hours :
25 hours / week throughout 8 weeks of summer camp, July1st- August 23rd.
This includes 5 hrs. (preparation) and 20 hrs. (contact group time)
Compensation and Benefits :
The MLK Community Center is an equal opportunity employer. The position of Summer Literacy Teacher is a non-exempt, part-time (25 hours per week) seasonal position.
The position will span throughout 8 weeks of summer camp (July 1st - August 23rd). Salary is $30 / hour.
