Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive services, customer service, and sales.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and initiate the service write-up process
- Transmit work orders to the service department
- Provide estimates for repairs and services
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Ensure accurate documentation of all services performed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an automotive service environment
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, oil changes, brake repairs, and general mechanical knowledge
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with auto service management software is a plus

Pay: $42,000.01 - $88,611.16 per year
