Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our healthcare facility. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of nursing care within the facility, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient satisfaction.

• The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the delivery of all resident care while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and corporate expectations, and guidelines at all times.
• Ensures operational and administrative needs of the program are met.
• Provides strategic leadership for resident care in the community by working with each department to coordinate care and services that promote resident’s quality of life.
• Main areas of focus and oversight include the following:
• Care management,
• Medication management,
• Risk management,
• Quality assurance,
• Staff management.
• Regulatory compliance
• Direct management of the nursing team to promote the health and wellness of the resident population.
• Ensures the provision of clinical care through the direct application of the nursing process; performs and documents resident assessments, completes Individualized Service Plans, provides or delegates hands-on clinical care as indicated by the plan of care and evaluates resident outcomes.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to support optimal patient care

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of home health practices and regulations

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and reimbursement processes

- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

- Experience in medical records management and documentation review

- Demonstrated leadership abilities in nursing administration

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
