Shift: Monday, Saturday, Sunday 7am-7pm

Pay: $21.50 ( potential to earn up to $2.50 premium)

Material Handler Essential Functions:

• Transfers items and materials throughout the distribution center with a Powered Industrial Truck
• Uses Mobis and/or MTMobility to transfer inventory to appropriate locations accurately.
• Operates PIT and other equipment safely throughout the transportation process
• Communicates issues with materials to supervisors
• Loads and unloads trucks as needed
• Combines inventory when/where needed
• Maintains a clean work area
• Actively ensures that all safety requirements and procedures are met at all times
• Properly scan product into correct locations to track material movements and locations

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate through radio
• Strong mathematical skills are required
• Must be able to successfully pass Material Handler test and complete PIT certification (If bidder has taken and passed the material handler test in the last 6 months, retake is not required)
• Computer proficiency using handheld scanners and keyboards
• Ability to reason, problem solve, and read and write in English
• Frequent standing, sitting, walking, gripping, and reaching as well as occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling, and reaching above shoulder level
• Lifting up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work overtime, as needed
