Marshall University is Hiring an Assistant Accountant Near Huntington, WV
This position will provide administrative support to the Director of Career Education and their staff, including, but not limited to, scheduling appointments, assisting with event coordination and payments, utilizing Career Education office applications, ordering supplies, and other daily office tasks as assigned.
The successful candidate would also maintain the budget for Career Education, provide support in completing purchase orders, encumbrances, making payments, and reconciling P-Card charges as necessary. The successful candidate would also provide assistance to the Shared Business Service units as requested and serve as a business backup when needed. They would also support the Director of Shared Business services as needed.
- Two years experience in related field
- Strong experience with Banner 9
- Demonstrated strength with Excel and Word
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills
