Job Description: Shop Technician

Position: Shop Technician

Location: Raleigh, NC in office

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist in various locksmithing tasks, including testing, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Install, repair, and modify locking mechanisms on various surfaces such as doors, desks, safes, and vaults.
• Utilize key cutting machines to duplicate keys and provide essential services to customers.
• Engage with customers to address inquiries, facilitate transactions, and resolve concerns, ensuring outstanding service.
• Demonstrate independence while managing multiple tasks, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and adept problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Dependable, honest, and committed to upholding high standards of integrity.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test.
• Possession of a valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain a locksmith apprentice license within the first 90 days of employment.
