Marsh Roots Seafood Company is a community Seafood Market in Lynchburg Virginia. When we started in February of 2020 at the farmers market downtown, the mission was simple - provide high quality, locally caught seafood to our community and preserve the heritage, culture, and history of the American Watermen.

We are looking for people that share our passion and are excited about being apart of the local Lynchburg food scene!

Job duties include -
Seafood merchandise sales
Using Square POS
Positive customer relations skills
Handling / Cutting seafood
Stocking seafood display
Stocking produce display
Proper food handling skills
Making prepared kitchen items
Washing dishes
Market Cleaning and organization

Pay is $15/hr or $17/hr with a Certified Food Protection Managers Certificate

Hours - Market hours are
Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays 9 a.m. - 6 p.m

Drug free workplace.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
