Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and patient satisfaction. This is a leadership role that requires excellent culinary skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to food service operations

- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents/patients

- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and guidelines

- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies

- Train and supervise dietary staff in proper food handling, preparation, and service techniques

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of dietary staff

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of meal services

- Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and resident/patient dietary requirements

- Address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner

Experience:

- Certified Dietary Manager certification required

- Experience in Long Term Care required

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines

- Experience in shift management and scheduling

- Culinary skills including food production and preparation techniques

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
