Marsh Landing Country Club is Hiring a Locker Room Attendent Near Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
$15 per hour plus tips.
Purpose of Job:
Assists in directing the daily activities of the Locker Room. The position is highly visible to members and guests and, therefore, demands a very courteous and service-oriented personality.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that all members and guests are greeted and welcomed in a professional and courteous manner.
Assists in the development of standards and maintain responsibility for cleanliness and appearance of all aspects and areas of the Locker Rooms at all times.
Positively promotes the service philosophy of the Club.
Assists in providing valet service for shoes and supplies.
Assists in the maintenance of ordering and receiving and storage programs as they relate to supplies and toiletries. Assists in maintaining par stock inventory levels as established by the Club.
Assists the golf shop staff with the enforcement of dress code policies and allocation of daily locker usage. Provides par stock levels on rental shoes.
Communicates information in a detailed and pleasant manner.
Assists in answering telephones clearly and concisely to schedule services and communicate information in a pleasant and professional manner.
Assists in ensuring that uniforms and name tags are worn by all Locker Room staff and kept in proper condition.
Assists in the development of employee work schedules and maintains accountability for cost utilization and performance of employees.
Assists in the renting of locker space and maintaining records for billing purposes.
Ensures the understanding of the game of golf.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the Company in any necessary duties to achieve Company goals.
Limited supervision. Work is performed to a large extent on own responsibility after assignment, with some choice of method. Occasionally develops own method.
Mistakes and errors in judgment are serious in nature, causing considerable loss of money and production time, or adversely affecting customer relations.
This position involves regular work with some information that, if disclosed, might have an adverse internal effect or objectionable outside results.
Purchases supplies necessary for the performance of personal or immediate work group’s job functions.
Skills:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in shoe care and customer service is required.
Thorough knowledge of shoe care and proper cleaning and polishing techniques.
Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
