Job Title: Procurement Coordinator, Family Services
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Accounting Manager
FLSA Status: Salary: Exempt $66,560

Position Summary: The Procurement Coordinator will coordinate all procurement, purchasing and travel activities within the Family Services Business Line.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.   • Proficient in the procurement process, including but not limited to price analysis, negotiations, policies, and procedures.
  • Optimize organization’s travel, logistics and inventory.
  • Provide an uninterrupted flow of materials and supplies required by the organization.
  • Establish, document, and simplify purchasing related processes.
  • Process returns to vendor items for damaged goods, incorrect items sent, and goods not
  • meeting specifications.
  • Review, reconcile and process supplier invoices for approval.
  • Research and confirm all travel, including flight, hotels, and additional trip information for
  • the Family Services Business Line.
  • Troubleshoots unexpected travel issues and addresses travel concerns.
  • Researches and provides solutions to any travel related problem employees may
  • experience.
  • Stays fully informed on ORR travel policy, rules and regulations, tariffs, and fare
  • requirements and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements.
  • Monitoring budgets for ORR site expenditures.
  • Entering purchases directly into the accounting system.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the assigned supervisor and management.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function.Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or
related field of studies.
  • May also have a
    • High School diploma/equivalent with 7 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, supplier management, and/or related industry experience OR
    • Master’s degree with 1 years’ experience
  • 3 years plus of experience in purchasing, sales, customer service, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.Mathematical Ability: Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of online booking tools a plus.
  • Competent with all aspects of ticketing transactions.
