Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Server. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set up for the next guests
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide a positive experience for guests
- Strong phone etiquette when taking reservations or handling inquiries over the phone
- Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to process orders and payments accurately
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or restaurant setting is preferred
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests, kitchen staff, and fellow team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food service regulations and safety standards
- Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed
